Pen had set to work pacing back and forth in her agitation about the table top trying to work off her anger. Thus far, it was half working, half making things worse.
She didn't care what people thought. She cared for Jude and was happy in a relationship with him regardless of how they were perceived. The ignorant world can suck it.
After 10 minutes, Jude decided he had brooded long enough. He pushed off the wall he'd been leaning against and leaned on the ornate wooden door to re-enter the library.
